This is my submission to Cold’s Gold Blogging Carnival for February 2013.
This is in response to the post 20 Days of Gold Making – Community Idea from Auction House Addict.
Question #1 is: When did you start gold making & what triggered it?
I started attempting to make gold as soon as I started playing WoW. It seemed to me like an obvious and natural part of the game. For a while, I figured it was something everybody did. Auctioneer was the first addon I installed. After every play session I would hearth back to Darnassus to scan the auction house and post my various meats and gear and whatever else I happened to find. This was before I realized how convenient a bank alt would be and way before I figured out how to get my Night Elf to Stormwind where the Auction House/Bank/Mail Box juxtaposition is much more convenient (or actually just roll a human and run him over). I didn’t really know what I was doing. I was just blindly following the recommendations of Auctioneer. Despite my inexperience, I had enough small AH victories to keep me in the gold making game for the long haul.
Stay tuned for Day 2: If you set yourself a goal, what was your goal & at what point did you set it?
